Welcome to AARO. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account. By creating an account you represent that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete
  • You are the parent or legal guardian of any children added to your account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You will notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading or fraudulent achievement information
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the platform to harass, abuse or harm others, especially children
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems
  • Use automated means to access the platform without permission

3. Achievement Records

Achievement records submitted to AARO remain the intellectual property of the submitting user. By submitting achievements, you grant AARO a licence to store, display and share them in accordance with your privacy settings. Verified achievements carry the endorsement of the verifying institution and may not be altered without their consent.

4. Institutions

Institutions that register on AARO agree to verify achievements honestly and accurately. Institutions are responsible for ensuring that their authorised users comply with these terms. AARO may remove or suspend institutional accounts that abuse the verification process.

5. Limitation of Liability

AARO provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for the accuracy of achievement records submitted by users or verified by institutions. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

6. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
